Rebuild East Midlands is reliant on the generosity of donors, as we receive no funding from central government. Regular monthly donations make a huge difference, helping to give a sustainable source of income. Even a small commitment ensures that Rebuild East Midlands can continue to provide much-needed support to survivors of modern slavery.
In January, Rebuild launched a social media campaign to draw attention to how much small regular donations are valued and impact delivery of their services. For the price of a monthly latte, you could provide a return bus ticket for someone to attend an appointment that will help move them forwards with their recovery. For the price of a large pizza, you could enable someone to have a 1-2-1 session with a Support Worker helping to sort out accommodation, education, employment or other practical support which helps people rebuild their lives.
This support helps people like James who was deceived, drugged and held against his will by his exploiters and made to care for their cannabis plants.
